Dr. Akshay Nair, Ophthalmic Plastic and reconstructive surgeon was inducted as a member of ASOPRS. The American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) is a professional body consisting of trained oculoplastic surgeons. All ASOPRS members are certified ophthalmologists who have completed advanced training in eyelid, orbit, tear duct system and facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Akshay Nair becomes only the fourth Indian in ASOPRS' 50-year old history to be inducted as a member.
